spotWaveTM

The spotWave is a robust, portable, single channel AE measurement unit that can be operated by a laptop, tablet, Smartphone, with Windows™ OS, or loT device. It has a USB interface for communications and power supply. Measurement data is stored in the host device in a *.pridb and *.tradb file. It is a full feature measurement device compliant to European Standard EN13477-1 to acquire and process AE feature data (hit processing) and record transient waveforms. As a stand-alone AE system it can be used to detect, measure, and characterize AE sources such as material failure, corrosion, leakage, partial discharge, friction and wear, as well as particle impact.

Vallen Visual AE suite written in SQ Lite, is the basis for data acquisition, visualization, and analysis processing. Data may be exported to many standardized software packages such as Matlab, Labworks, Python…

Integrated into the package is a coupling check transmitter (CCT) used for the AE sensor coupling verification in place of the Hsu-Nielson method. And it can be used for measuring the speed of sound or attenuation characteristics of a structure.

For mobile devices the Android OS the Vallen data acquisition APP is available.

    linWaveTM

The linWave is a dual channel AE measurement unit in a compact IP67 housing. It is ideal for embedded or additive manufacturing applications as a full feature measurement device compliant to European Standard EN13477-1 to acquire and process AE feature data (hit processing) and record transient waveforms.

As a stand-alone AE system it can be used to detect, measure, and process Linear location of AE sources such as material failure, corrosion, leakage, partial discharge, friction and wear, as well as particle impact.

The linWave is connected to a local network (LAN) via Ethernet and powered with Power over Ethernet (PoE) over the same cable. Therefore, a PoE switch/router or standard switch/router with PoE injector is needed.
